Inside Liverpool's academy: Ben Woodburn is the latest prospect to roll off the production line as Jurgen Klopp and Alex Ingelthorpe put faith in youth

There was an image of Jurgen Klopp during his first official day in charge of Liverpool last year that offered serious indications as to how his management would take hold.

The big German stood on a balcony at the club's Academy in Kirkby watching the Under 18s alongside Alex Ingelthorpe and Pep Lijnders, keen to see what they had at their disposal.

He wants to know the exact ins and outs of what goes on at that training ground, stationed five miles away from the first team's home at Melwood.
