Inside LFC's Marbella camp: Who is Reds' foot-tennis champion?

After breakfast prepped by club chefs at the team hotel, the Reds squad made the short journey to a local football complex by bicycle to start their day’s work at 10.30am local time.

A two-hour session comprised of physical and tactical drills – and a highly-enjoyable and competitive game of foot-tennis, in which Virgil van Dijk prevailed as the winner ahead of the rest of his teammates.

That said, Rafa Camacho’s performance is worthy of an honourable mention as he challenged his more experienced colleague until the end.

After biking back to the hotel, the squad enjoyed lunch al fresco style on the terrace, with temperatures on the Costa del Sol comfortably exceeding the mid-20s.
