Jurgen Klopp is creating 'an ecological family paradise' in Mallorca after purchasing a villa on the Balearic island for £3.4million.

The Liverpool manager stunned the world of football on Friday when he announced he will leave Anfield in May after nine seasons, despite having two years left on his deal.

Klopp, 56, cited the fact he was 'running out of energy' for his decision and hinted he may never manage in football ever again.

The German was non-committal on his post-Liverpool future, but if he were to take a sabbatical or step away from the game altogether he could well retire in his mansion in the Mediterranean.
