The Brazilian's journey began at Internacional in his homeland, where he rose through the youth ranks to claim a place between the sticks in the first team.
From there, the talented shot-stopper headed to Italian outfit AS Roma, where he impressed in both Serie A and Champions League before securing his Anfield switch.
