Kostas Tsimikas was delighted to get a first Liverpool appearance under his belt as the opening game of pre-season ended in a 3-0 win over VfB Stuttgart.
The Greece left-back enjoyed a 45-minute outing in the second half of Saturday’s friendly, in which Roberto Firmino, Naby Keita and Rhian Brewster netted for the Reds.
It provided an initial taste of match action with his new club for Tsimikas, who has been training with the squad since their camp in Austria began last Saturday.
“I feel very good, I’m very happy I did my debut,” he told Liverpoolfc.
