'I shouldn't have said what I said but I DIDN'T LIE': Jurgen Klopp admits he 'opened a box' by discussing his history with Paul Tierney - but doubles down on Liverpool's 'history' with the Premier League official after Spurs win

Jurgen Klopp has urged that he 'didn't lie' about Liverpool's history with Premier League referee Paul Tierney, but admitted his remarks 'shouldn't have been said' following his side's 4-3 win over Spurs on Sunday.

The Liverpool manager was shown a yellow card by Tierney after wildly celebrating Diogo Jota's injury time winner at Anfield and subsequently accused the official of having an agenda against his side.

Mail Sport reported on Monday that Klopp is set to be charged by the FA over his furious comments about the referee in his post-match interview.
