'I don't like it. I hope it doesn't happen': Liverpool midfielder James Milner makes HUGE statement against European Super League as he comes out against his employers to slam breakaway plans... as he admits it 'felt a bit unjust' that players faced abuse

James Milner has claimed that he hopes the European Super League doesn't happen after Liverpool drew with Leeds United in the Premier League.

The Reds were one of six Premier League clubs that have proposed to become a founding member of the controversial Super League, that would also include clubs such as Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus.

Milner, who wore the armband for Liverpool at Elland Road, revealed that the squad only found out about the news of a new league on the same day as the fans and that he does not support the breakaway league.
