Founded in 1988, the Holocaust Educational Trust aims to raise awareness and understanding about the Holocaust in schools and among the general public.
Mr Shipper shared his own experiences and took questions from the youngsters before being presented with a personalised LFC shirt.
Liverpool U18s captain Liam Coyle said: "It was a real privilege for the lads to be able to listen to Zigi’s story to gain a better understanding of the traumatic experiences that he and the other millions of people impacted by the Holocaust went through.
“We would like to thank Zigi for visiting the Academy to share his experiences and hope to welcome him back to Kirkby in the near future.
