David James has backed Loris Karius to come good at Liverpool, insisting the club are ‘privileged’ to have two top class goalkeepers in their squad.
The 23-year-old was dropped by Jurgen Klopp after a series of high profile blunders, but is likely to be restored to the starting line-up for Sunday's FA Cup clash with Plymouth.
Karius has missed the Reds’ last five games following two error-strewn performances in the 4-3 defeat to Bournmouth and 2-2 draw with West Ham, with Simon Mignolet reclaiming his number one spot.
