The duo were afforded extended time off after helping England to victory in the U21 European Championship earlier this month.
Elliott scored once in the tournament – one of the goals of the campaign – when he struck against Germany in the Three Lions’ final group game.
Jones, meanwhile, received Player of the Match accolades in the semi-final and final of the competition, as well as claiming the only strike of the deciding tie as England defeated Spain to lift the trophy.
Elliott and Jones will now join the Reds’ 32-man travelling party in the state of Baden-Württemberg and begin preparations for 2023-24.
