The Under 23s captain, who already has one cap for Wales, has impressed for the young Reds this season and is determined to earn a chance on the main stage with Klopp's men.

Having seen fellow 19-year-old Ovie Ejaria earn his debut in the first team in the Capital One Cup against Derby, Wilson, has been buoyed by the manager's willingness to give young players a chance.
