A versatile attacker, Wilson achieved a senior debut for his country aged 16 in 2013 and later captained Liverpool U23s as he caught the eye with his ability on the ball, finishing and long-range shooting.
His maiden first-team appearance for the Reds came as a substitute in the FA Cup tie with Plymouth Argyle in January 2017, before he enjoyed a series of productive loan spells to gain further experience.
