Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has admitted he is no closer to securing a new contract at Anfield ahead of his current deal coming to an end in the summer, but says he will be 'devastated' if he has to leave the club.
Wijnaldum addressed the media following his manager Jurgen Klopp on Monday afternoon, ahead of Liverpool's Champions League second leg clash with RB Leipzig in Budapest.
The Dutch international, who has played in every single league game for the Reds this season, is able to walk away from Anfield for free in the summer with growing speculation that Ronald Koeman wishes to take him to Barcelona.
