Gary Neville believes Arsenal have gained 'hope' in the title race despite Liverpool's win over Wolves.
Arne Slot's side survived a second-half scare to beat the relegation-threatened visitors 2-1 and reclaim their seven-point lead over the Gunners.
The victory at Anfield came a day after a Arsenal, without a recognised striker, claimed a 2-0 victory against Leicester thanks to Mikel Merino's late brace.
Neville believes Arsenal will be more hopeful of catching Liverpool as the leaders didn't win in style.
He said on Sky Sports: 'I thought it was a good day for Liverpool but half a decent day for Arsenal as well as Liverpool have Villa and City away and just got over the line against a Wolves team who were fantastic in the second half.
