Lucas Leiva's potential move to Galatasaray is now a thing of the past, according to their sporting director Levent Nazifoglu.
The Turkish giants had been in talks with the Liverpool midfielder about a move this summer.
After agreeing a deal with the Merseyside club, Galatasaray gave Leiva an additional 24 hours to make a decision about joining the Turk Telekom Arena outfit.

Yet that deadline has now elapsed with the move now off, insists Nazifoglu.
