Gabriel Jesus saved Manchester City with a goal that drew comparisons to Dennis Bergkamp as they took a point from Premier League title rivals Liverpool - but the stand-in striker remains firmly in the shadow of Sergio Aguero

For reasons best known to themselves, Sky chose to compare Gabriel Jesus' equalising goal here to the one scored by Dennis Bergkamp for Arsenal at Newcastle in 2002.

Jesus' control, spin and finish was top class at the Etihad. Bergkamp's goal still looks as though it came from another galaxy.

But in terms of importance, Jesus' goal is up there with any scored by a Manchester City player for quite a while.
