Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita has joined Werder Bremen as free agent after agreeing a three-year deal with the German club.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano took to Twitter on Friday to announce the news with the player having already undergone his medical tests.
'Official, completed. Naby Keita is new Werder Bremen player on free deal!' he wrote.
Keita joined Liverpool from RB Leipzig for a fee of £48m in 2017 and went on to feature 129 times in five seasons, contirbuting 11 goals and seven assists.
During that time he helped his side win every trophy available, the Reds claiming the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup, each on one occasion.
