Former Liverpool midfielder Mohamed Sissoko has joined Indian Super League side FC Pune City on a free transfer.
The Malian has been on the hunt for a new club since February after being released by Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua.
The 31-year-old had been linked with a return to England and he even had a trial with West Brom back in August.
However Sissoko has now joined Pune City as a replacement for marquee signing Eidur Gudjohnsen, who has been ruled out for the whole Indian Super League season.
The midfielder, who previously spent three years at Liverpool followed by a stint in Juventus, could make his debut this weekend.
