Former Liverpool captain and coach Ronnie Moran dies, aged 83

Former Liverpool captain and coach Ronnie Moran has sadly passed away, aged 83.

A legendary figure at the Merseyside club, Moran spent his entire playing career at Liverpool and went on to fill multiple coaching roles before eventually retiring in 1998 as the club's longest-serving employee.

The former defender, who had two spells as caretaker manager, won two Division One titles and the FA Cup once during his playing days with the Reds.
