Jari Litmanen has divulged details after suffering from coronavirus, saying 'he's never been in such bad shape.'
The former Liverpool, Ajax and Barcelona midfielder, who retired in 2011, was diagnosed with COVID-19 and took four weeks to recover fully, as well as two extra weeks of rest and recuperation.
Litmanen, 49, who holds the record for most caps for Finland with 137 appearances over a 21-year international career, spoke in depth about his symptoms.
'There was a fever, headache, muscle aches, shortness of breath and everything possible,' Litmanen said, as reported by Unibet.
