Liverpool fans have applauded Mohamed Salah's decision to change his boots at half-time of their New Year's Day win over Newcastle after the Egyptian bagged a brace in the second period.
The forward endured a frustrating first period in which he saw a poorly-placed penalty saved by Martin Dubravka in the Magpies' goal.
But with the second-half came a change of footwear and a change of fortunes as the 31-year-old he scored the game's opener before converting the clincher to seal the 4-2 win.
The attire alteration was not missed by Liverpool supporters, who implored the forward to do away with the boots he had worn in the opening 45.
