Fabinho admits having fans in attendance for Carabao Cup final will be added motivation for Liverpool after supporters weren't able to see them win the Premier League due to Covid

For thousands of Liverpool fans at Wembley, victory against Chelsea in Sunday's Carabao Cup Final would be the first time they’ve physically been able to watch Jurgen Klopp’s team lift a trophy.

Midfielder Fabinho admits it’s an added motivation for the Liverpool players having won the Premier League behind closed doors and the Champions League in Madrid which made it difficult for some supporters to travel.

The Reds will have 33,000 fans in London on Sunday afternoon. ‘We won the league in Covid times so we couldn’t celebrate in the right way,’ said Fabinho.
