Glenn Hoddle has suggested Liverpool should hold the door open for a rejuvenated Jurgen Klopp to return after a year's sabbatical.
The German coach, 56, stunned football on Friday by announcing he will stand down as Reds boss at the end of the season because he is 'running out of energy'.
Klopp has won the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup during a highly successful nine years at Anfield.
But former England manager Hoddle doesn't believe Klopp's departure need necessarily be the end of the story and recommended reprising the famous 'Boot Room' until he has the energy to return.
