Everton's first team coach set to take on 26 marathons to raise money for Macmillan Cancer... as he sets target of £32,250 in between coaching Sean Dyche's Premier League side

Everton's Physical Performance coach, Jack Dowling, is embarking on a remarkable mission to raise crucial funds for Macmillan Cancer Support Charity.

Jack has undertaken the formidable challenge of running 26 marathons in 26 weeks, with the goal of raising an impressive £32,250—an amount that can sustain a Macmillan nurse for six months.

The challenge comes after Jack's older brother, Tom, was diagnosed with terminal bowel cancer last year.

Jack will be taking on the 'Project 26:26' challenge - the equivalent of running from Liverpool to Berlin - to thank the Macmillan teams who have been there for his brother and other families in similar situations.
