Everton goalkeeper Joel Robles has called on his side to end their two-decade long Anfield hoodoo and close the gap on their city rivals in the Merseyside derby, claiming: 'We need to kill them'.
Ronald Koeman's side travel to Anfield on Saturday lunchtime six points off the Champions League places but without a win at their nearest rivals since 1999.
They were beaten 4-0 on their last visit, in one of the most one-sided derbies in recent memory, before Sadio Mane scored a late winner at Goodison in December to extend Liverpool's unbeaten run against Everton to 13 matches.
