Mohamed Salah is in the final year of his contract at Liverpool and the Reds could face a battle to keep him beyond the end of the season.
Salah has scored 217 goals in 358 games for Liverpool since arriving from Roma in 2017. Only Ian Rush, Roger Hunt, Gordon Hodgson and Billy Liddell have scored more goals than Salah in the Merseyside club's 132-year history.
If Salah does not sign a new deal at Anfield then he will be able to leave on a free transfer next summer.
Salah has been linked with interest from teams in Saudi Arabia but, according to The Sun, he is not interested in joining Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar and Co in the Arab state just yet.
