The duo were quizzed on a whole host of topics, including the emergence of Sport Science in football, the use of heart monitors, and fitness tracking systems.
The students enrolled at the college in September after leaving school with high aspirations, hoping to follow in the footsteps of the 35 graduates currently at UK and USA universities, or the seven who have progressed into professional football.
Reds striker Sturridge commented: “Education is so important and can shape the future years of life, so working hard to gain English and Maths qualifications is vital. They give you the stepping stone to progress to university or into employment.
