Ederson has admitted he is shocked that Alisson has been snubbed by Brazil interim boss Ramon Menezes in the latest squad for the March internationals.
The Liverpool goalkeeper, 30, has been Brazil's first-choice shot-stopper since 2016, winning the Copa America in 2019 and 61 caps for the South American nation.
Brazil's 23-man squad for their friendly against Morocco on Saturday was announced earlier this month.
The 29-year-old, who has won just 19 caps for Brazil, commented on Alisson's omission.
However, the Manchester City star insisted it is 'too early to say' whether he will replace Alisson as the first-choice goalkeeper for the national side.
