Dirk Kuyt has announced his retirement from football just days after his title heroics with Feyenoord.
The Dutchman's hat-trick against on the final day against Heracles helped secure his side the Eredivise title - their first since 1999.
The 36-year-old made 39 appearances, scoring 15 goals and assisting seven and he has decided to hang up his boots on a high.
Kuyt played a number of positions over his career, starting as a forward and playing in midfield and right-back.
He enjoyed a six-year spell at Liverpool, where he made 286 appearances and was a hit with the fans.
