Liverpool have been dealt a big blow as centre-back Dejan Lovren has reportedly traveled to Germany for treatment on a persistent knee injury.
According to Chris Bascombe of the Daily Telegraph, the Croat has already missed several matches with the injury, and further help is needed. Per the report, he was already in pain during the last matches he played.
Lovren, 27, will now likely miss crucial upcoming fixtures against Leicester City and Arsenal.
The former Southampton defender has become a key part of Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp's back line and formed a strong partnership with summer signing Joel Matip.
