Dean Saunders has revealed that he 'can't believe' that Leicester approached Jesse Marsch about their vacant manager's position.
Marsch, who was sacked by Leeds in February, emerged as the leading candidate to replace Brendan Rodgers at struggling Leicester.
However, Marsch wasn't appointed as he turned down the job, and Leicester are now focused on a short-term manager to help them stay in the Premier League.
Former Liverpool and Aston Villa player Saunders stated that he doesn't know how Marsch managed to get an interview.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Saunders said: 'I can't believe he's turned it down, I can't believe they approached him.
