Daniel Sturridge lauded Liverpool's 5-0 win over Burton Albion in the second round of the EFL Cup and believes his side showed a marked improvement after their dreadful loss to Burnley on Saturday.
Sturridge scored twice after coming on as a second-half substitute at the Pirelli Stadium and said the Reds 'want to win every game', regardless of who is put in front of them.
'It was a great team performance and it's good to get the victory,' Sturridge told the club's official website.

'It was down to us to get the result, down to us to go out there and improve on what we did at the weekend and we did that.
