Daniel Sturridge gives Amir Khan a 'shoutout' after boxer visits Anfield and hangs out with Liverpool stars

Daniel Sturridge gave his friend Amir Khan a 'shoutout' after the British boxer made the trip to Anfield to watch the Liverpool striker score both goals in the EFL Cup win over Tottenham.

Jurgen Klopp's side booked their place against Leeds United in the quarter-finals of the League Cup, despite a Victor Janssen penalty, with a brace from the England international in a rare start this season.

Former WBA light-welterweight champion Khan and his entourage were a guest of Sturridge, with both sharing their experience on Instagram after the game on Tuesday night.
