Lightweight Paddy Pimblett sent out a statement on his UFC debut after a relentless flurry of punches saw him secure a first-round TKO win over Luigi Vendramini at Fight Night 191.
Despite being knocked down in the opening stages of the contest, the Liverpool fighter moved in menacingly, catching his Brazilian opponent with a massive right hand with roughly 45 seconds of the round left.
Vendramini moved into the centre of the cage to try and regain some control, but the hits kept coming before Pimblett executed a front kick and then continued striking the 25-year-old repeatedly at bewildering speed, with the referee stepping in to end the fight.
