Cody Gakpo admits his Liverpool debut was 'sloppy' after his £44m move from PSV, but the Dutchman insists he did have some good moments and will work hard to 'improve' ahead of their FA Cup replay with Wolves

Cody Gakpo admitted to being 'sloppy' during his Liverpool debut but said he was committed to 'improving' his game to help the team succeed.

Gakpo signed for Liverpool just after Christmas from PSV on a five-and-half year deal and made his debut for the club on Saturday.

The 23-year-old started the game and featured 84 minutes before being replaced by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Speaking to Liverpool's official website about his debut, Gakpo said: '[There was a] really great atmosphere.

'For my own game, I think I showed some good moments and some sloppy moments.
