The England internationals, who made the visit as part of the club’s ‘Red Neighbours’ programme, had their language skills put to the test by the youngsters during their mandarin lesson.
The pair learned a number of key phrases in the lesson including ‘Hello’, ‘How are you?’ and ‘My name is’ – as well as some LFC-related sayings such as ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ and ‘Come on you Reds’.
Sara Robinson, head teacher at Four Oaks Community Primary School, said: “It was fantastic to be able to welcome Nathaniel and Adam to Four Oaks Community Primary School to join in with a mandarin language lesson to celebrate Chinese New Year.
