Players and managers have been warned about their increasingly toxic behaviour by the Premier League ahead of the season's restart.
It comes after Jurgen Klopp's abuse of assistant referee, Gary Beswick, sparked outrage in October when Liverpool's manager was dismissed during their 1-0 win over Manchester City at Anfield.
Football's stakeholders, including the Premier League, FA, EFL, PFA and LMA, met to discuss this problem which they feel became prominent across the footballing pyramid in the season's first half. They have now issued a stern warning to clubs, insisting such behaviour will not be tolerated.
