Champions League last-16 draw, AS IT HAPPENED (twice!): All the drama from a farcical day at UEFA that infuriated the clubs, before Man United v Atletico and Real Madrid v PSG headlined the draw

The draw for the Champions League last-16 is set to take place for the second time on Monday afternoon, after a string of errors left UEFA no choice but to void the initial process.

UEFA cited 'technical problems' as Manchester United were drawn against group rivals Villarreal, which is prohibited, while they were also omitted from being drawn against a possible opponent, Atletico Madrid.

Once again, United, Liverpool and Chelsea - who finished as group winners - will face a runner-up in the last-16, while Chelsea could be drawn against any of Europe's major sides.
