Cash-strapped Barcelona 'looking to sell out-of-favour Samuel Umtiti, Riqui Puig, Junior Firpo and Carles Alena in January' in order to give Ronald Koeman funds to bolster side

Barcelona are hoping to use the January window to offload four fringe members of their first team as they look to boost their chances of landing transfer targets.

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, Barca are struggling financially and will only be in a position to sign players once they can sell or even loan out players who have fallen out of favour under Ronald Koeman.

The Dutch manager has drawn up a target of potential incomings including Eric Garcia from Manchester City, Liverpool's Georginio Wijnaldum and Lyon's Memphis Depay.
