Brighton expect to include their midfielder Moises Caicedo in their squad that leaves for the US on Monday.
Caicedo, 21, has been the subject of interest from Chelsea and Liverpool, but neither club has come close to matching Brighton's £100million asking price.
The first opponents in Brighton's three games on their US tour happen to be Chelsea - in Philadelphia on July 26.
Chelsea remain in negotiations over a potential deal for Caicedo but are understood to have Southampton's Romeo Lavia on their shortlist as an alternative.
Caicedo himself has admitted he is open to joining the Blues, having said he 'couldn't say no' to the club and labelled them a 'beautiful team'.
