Bayern Munich 'planning to play Sadio Mane WITH Robert Lewandowski' - rather than replacing him - with the Germans believing they could drag Liverpool's price tag down to £34m

Bayern Munich are reportedly plotting a sensational swoop to sign Sadio Mane and partner him with wantaway striker Robert Lewandowski from next season.

The German champions are on the lookout for a new frontman despite the Polish striker netting an incredible 50 goals in just 46 games last term.

However, the 33-year-old was left furious by the club's attempts to sign Erling Haaland as a long term replacement, and with a year left to run on his contract has demanded he wants to leave the Allianz Arena.

Bayern though are not keen to let the Poland international go easily and instead are hoping to bolster their attacking ranks by adding Mane to their forward line.
