Arne Slot insists his Liverpool side are NOT getting complacent after the Reds suffered their second Premier League loss of the season

Arne Slot insisted that his Liverpool side aren’t getting complacent after they fell to only their second defeat of the Premier League season.

‘Complacency is the last thing,’ said Slot, whose side still have a 11-point lead at the summit and need just 11 more points from their remaining seven games to secure the title.

‘There’s no reason for us to be complacent because we’re not winning every game by three or four goals,' added the Liverpool boss.

'It takes us so much effort and hard work combined with quality to win games of football but the team (Manchester City) that won the league the last four seasons were already 3-0 up at half-time in a lot of the games they played.
