Andy Robertson has broken the record for the most assists for a defender in Premier League history after setting up Mohamed Salah for Liverpool's opening goal against Aston Villa on Monday.
The Scottish full-back went into the match with 53 top-flight assists to his name, putting him level with former Everton and Wigan defender Leighton Baines.
It took him just five minutes to move past the former England international as he latched onto Trent Alexander-Arnold's through ball and played a square ball into the path of Salah.
The Egyptian forward had the simplest of tasks of tapping the ball beyond Robin Olsen from six yards out to give Liverpool the lead.
