Champions League pedigree
Porto were among the last teams to book their place in Monday's draw, beating Monaco 5-2 in their final game in Group G to finish second behind leaders Besiktas.
However, the Portuguese side have a long association with the Champions League, having won it twice during their 32 seasons in the competition.
Their most recent triumph came under manager Jose Mourinho in 2004, when goals from Deco, Carlos Alberto and Dmitri Alenichev secured a 3-0 win over Didier Deschamps' Monaco in Gelsenkirchen.
