Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson has shed light on why he chose to join the Reds rather than Chelsea in the summer.
The Brazilian was a high profile target for both sides but decided to join Jurgen Klopp's team and has impressed ever since.
And Alisson took a number of factors into consideration before signing on the dotted line at Anfield.
'This is a club with five European Cups in their trophy cabinet. I really wanted to be part of that history. I've always admired Liverpool's history,' he said.
He also noted that the uncertainty around Chelsea following the sacking of Antonio Conte counted against the Blues.
