Walking Football aims to encourage physical activity in a fun and social setting. Two-time European Cup winner, Alan, joined more than 50 participants who took part in the initiative’s first session.
Alan said: “It’s been a great experience – a really, really good day.
“Some of the guys here haven’t played for a long time, and some of them haven’t played at any level before, so it’s brilliant to get them all out here together.
“It’s great fun and allows these men to mix with new people, have a good time and realise that they can stay fit and still play the game at this level.
