Ahmed Hegazi punched Danny Ings in the ribs during Liverpool's clash with West Brom but the defender escaped sanction and the Baggies were even given a free-kick for the ugly tangle.
The duo collided in the air and fell on the ground. With Hegazi on his haunches above the striker, he then dug in a sly punch.
Ings was understandably furious and then refused to be helped up by the Egyptian who attempted to smooth over his actions.
The referee Stuart Attwell missed the incident and despite all of Ings' protestations he was the one penalised for the challenge.
