Aberdeen manager Jim Goodwin has backed Calvin Ramsay to thrive in the top-level environment at Liverpool.
The Champions League finalists have agreed to pay £4.5million — plus another £3.5m in potential add-ons — to recruit the 18-year-old right-back into Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
Ramsay still has to complete a medical and put the last touches to personal terms on a five-year deal at Anfield. But if those details are completed without any hitches, Goodwin believes Liverpool will be in the fortunate position of landing a player with immense potential.

‘The two clubs have agreed a fee but there are a few things that need to go on behind the scenes,’ said Goodwin.
