Sporting Lisbon will not allow Adrien Silva to join Leicester City, according to the player's agent.
On Monday the midfielder revealed in an interview with Portuguese newspaper O Jogo that he wanted to join the Foxes as part of a reported £21million deal.
That, however, was swiftly followed up by a statement from Sporting which expressed their desire to keep hold of the 27-year-old.
And now Silva's agent, Jonathan Mareek, has confirmed that the Portuguese club are blocking their captain from joining the Premier League champions.
