Ruud van Nistelrooy has revealed whether he regrets accepting the manager job offer at Leicester City amid the team's disappointing results throughout this season.
The Manchester United icon left his role as caretaker coach at Old Trafford and joined the Foxes in late November last year, succeeding Steve Cooper, who was sacked after just 12 league games.
Initially, the 48-year-old legend arrived as Erik ten Hag's assistant, but saw a promotion to an interim role after the Dutchman was sacked in October.
It was thought that the Dutchman would remain in the coaching staff under new manager Ruben Amorim, but the Portuguese decided there was no room for the former United striker.
